What to Expect

You deserve a village to support you on the path of parenthood, from the sleepless nights to the absolute joys. That’s why Make New Mom Friends exists—to create the opportunities for relationships and friendships to bloom alongside you and your growing family.

❋ Activities to Create Connection

Social time is precious when you’re a new mom, so we’re creating a space where it’s easy to get to know someone and make genuine connections.

❋ Resources for Parenting

You’ll leave each session with a goody bag, packed with a workbook and resources to help you navigate parenting challenges with confidence and grace.

❋ Wisdom & Tips from Local Experts

Local experts will be at each session to answer questions, share stories, and offer helpful insights into sleeping, feeding, and raising your little ones, while also taking care of yourself in this new life chapter.

❋ Donation-Based Membership

Pay what you can, come as you are. The suggested donation is $10-$20 per session, plus the cost of your drink/food at the cafe. The donation covers the cost of the printed materials and resources. Can’t afford it? Just let us know when registering, and we’ll find a solution.

The goal?

Laugh, learn, and leave with the seeds of friendship, so you can feel seen, supported, and strong in motherhood.

How It Works

  • Fill out the registration form to claim one of the 10 available spots. As part of registration, you'll complete the Friendship Census — a short, fun survey about your favorites (snacks, colors, ideal friend dates, and more) and what friendship and support mean to you as a new mom. This helps us and the other moms in the group get to know you before you even walk in the door.

We prioritize spots for moms who can commit to all three sessions — the more time we have together, the deeper the roots of friendship grow. Life happens, though, so if you end up missing a session, no worries at all.

  • You can pay your suggested donation of $10–$20 per session via Venmo or PayPal — whichever is easiest for you. Payment is due at least one week before each session, or you're welcome to pay upfront for all three at once.

If you pay upfront and end up unable to make a session, you won't miss out — I'll personally make sure your goody bag and all the resources from that session find their way to you.

As always, if cost is a barrier, just let us know when registering and we'll work something out.

  • Simply show up, order your drinks/food at the counter, and settle in with us. Babies and kids are welcome to join. We'll have 1–2 helper moms on hand to keep an eye on the little ones in the playroom at Central Merc, so you can actually sit down, sip your coffee, and be present.
